POMMARD PREMIER CRU CLOS DES BOUCHEROTTES MONOPLE

Pinot noir - 1,81 ha

Owned by the family since 1908, this Clos has always been a jewel of the village. In 1507, it was part of the Royal Estate. Its name derives from the old Burgundian patois word ‘boucho’, meaning ‘bush’, or from ‘bouchure’, meaning a dividing hedge. Its location on the border between Pommard and Beaune explains this name.
